Kahu is an avid gamer, with experience in hosting and streaming. She currently sits on the New Zealand Esports Federation Women’s Subcommittee.
She is doing her Master of Business Management and holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology.
Kahu has been involved in a number of other industries:
- Foodtech: Kahu has worked with a Singapore-based company working on “lab-grown” meat.
- Venture Funding: Kahu is a member of the digital technologies committee at ReturnOnScience, which provides investment and strategic management to New Zealand researchers and start-ups.
- Acting/Modelling: Kahu is a signed model and actress, who recently worked on Shortland Street.
Kahu grew up in Rotorua, where she was appointed head prefect and received the Rotorua Community Award.
